Dear Victorian Educators … it’s my fault
This is what I told a trainer friend of mine in an eMail recently:
So, you’re effectively doing the role of three people? Wow … I’m guessing it’s due to the financial withdrawals and re-structure of the RTO sector by the governments … and I think that it’s my fault.
Every time I try to go into the education sector, it falls apart.
23 years ago I wanted to go in as a Uni lecturer,13 years ago as a Train-the-trainer and then this year in the Vocational sector … each time, the industry is facing a shakeup and jobs are on the line … it seems obvious that the world simply reacts badly to my wanting to become some form of trainer or educator.
However, whilst you may say that the world probably does not spin around me, and that I just have very bad timing … you must admit, it’s a three time coincidence and the odds of that are pretty high.
