Because I lost the original disks for the Macbook 15” (2006 - A1211 Model) and it took 5 minutes to convince the guy that I actually wanted the original Tiger install disks because I needed to re-install the OS - yes I know I registered Leopard for that Machine - No I can’t install Leopard because it’s an upgrade disk and I need the original install disk … right, good, ok!

Then I had to wait ten minutes as they tried to find a copy of the old install disks (I’m pretty sure this involved looking through old boxes and checking under Dave’s desk) until they finally located one and informed me that it will take 7 to 21 days to deliver to me because it was being shipped from the US of A … and then informed me that it was going to cost me … $20.40 - inclusive of sales taxes and delivery.

I tried hard not to laugh as I provided my details … at least I can finally rebuild the lil 15” for Ingrid to use.
