Stop giving men so much power over you. “Does he like me?” is not the right question. If you like him, and he’s right for you, he will like you back. If he’s not right for you, who cares if he likes you? Whether or not you’re in a relationship is not the man’s decision. Being in a relationship should not be a goal. I know it’s how most of us were raised and it’s reinforced in the media every day, but it’s okay to let it go.

When you relax, realize how goddamn amazing you are and don’t broadcast ‘need’ to the world the right one will show up. And if he doesn’t, that’s okay too.

Let me repeat that: that’s okay too. Being single is not a character flaw. 

Note: I’m not singling anyone out. I’m just throwing this out into the universe in case anyone needs it.
